SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME
WORKSHOPS
Three parallel workshops have been organized at Plesso Didattico Morgagni of the University of Florence on Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31, right after the main symposium.
The day-and-a-half workshops will bring together experts and thought leaders in peptide science to share insights, discuss recent advancements, and foster collaborations.
It is a unique opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, exchange ideas, and contribute to the evolving landscape of peptide science.
WORKSHOP TITLES:
- Applications of computational AI/ML in peptide research with a roadmap to peptide drug and material development.
- Embracing innovation and sustainability in peptide synthesis.
- Navigating entrepreneurship and technology transfer in peptide discovery and development (supported in part by EUniWell, Project TTpep: Technology Transfer of Peptides for the Well-being Economy).
Speakers (preliminary list):
Fernando Albericio (South Africa), Elisabetta Bianchi (Italy), Florence Brunel (USA), Phil Dawson (USA), Wendy Hartsock (USA), Helen Hook (UK), Ewa Lis (USA), Istvan Mandity (Hungary), Ines Neundorf (Germany), Steve Kent (USA) and Ved Srivastava (USA).
IN ORDER TO REGISTER TO THE ABOVE WORKSHOPS, YOU MUST BE REGISTERED TO THE MAIN SYMPOSIUM.
Due to the limited availability of the meeting rooms, the pre-registration to the workshops is compulsory.

CECAM Satellite Workshop
A fourth independent satellite workshop, titled “Peptides in biology and materials: bridging simulation and experimental data” and promoted by CECAM (Centre Européen de Calcul Atomique et Moléculaire), will also be held in the same venue.
